What is Kanban?
Kanban is an industrial technique for “pulling” work through its entire lifecycle, causing the work to flow more smoothly and at a higher rate. Kanban also shines a light on the activities that are normally hidden. This visibility is at two levels: for individual activities and the lifecycle as a whole.
Objective:
This workshop is to equip professionals with simple but powerful techniques to visualize work: how to design a Kanban board, how to track work and its progress, how to visualize queues and buffers, and even such nitty-gritty details as how colors and other enhancements can help you to organize and track your work items.
The TameFlow and Task Board function of the LYNX software will be introduced for quicker and much better business results.
Expected Results
Upon completion of the course, participants will have a design and execute a Kanban system for effective work process control.
